Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
This Terms of Use is designed to regulate the rights, duties and responsibilities between MatchNChat Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the users, as well as all other necessary information to use the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
Article 2 (Definition of Terminology)
① The terms used in this Terms of Use are defined as the followings:
- "Potential users" refers to any person that downloaded the applications from an App Store Market operated by a App Store operator or a platform operator in order to use the service provided by the Company.
- "User" refers to all potential users who accepted this Terms of Use, as well as the Company's personal information policy, and received the right to use the service.
- "Service" is an integral part of the service provided by the Company.
- "Device" refers to all wired and wireless equipment such as smartphones, mobile phones or tablets that are capable of using the service.
- "Application" refers to all programs, provided by the Company, that are capable of accessing the service.
- "App Store (Open Market) operator" refers to all open market operators that make it possible for users to download the Company's application from an App Store and execute In-App Purchase.
- "Platform operator" refers to companies and services that cooperate with the Company in order to offer the service.
- "User account" is a combination of letters, numbers or special characters that is selected by the user and granted by the platform operator in order to verify the identity of a user or his/her access to the service.
- "Content" refers to all items and functions that the Company developed for the purpose of using within the service.
- "Premium Content" refers to all paid contents that users purchase via In-App Purchase to be able to use certain special effects or functions within the service.
- "Free Content" refers to all contents that users did not purchase directly by themselves via In-App Purchase but received as a gift from another user or as a free reward while using the service.
- "In-App Purchase" refers to all purchase transactions within an application for buying premium content.
② The terms used in this Terms of Use, except those that are defined in paragraph (1), are subject to relevant legislations. If there are no regulations within the relevant legislations, general commercial practices apply.
Article 3 (Company Information and other provisions)
The Company shall publish the followings on the Company's website or within the initial screen of the service, so users can easily access those information. The Company can, however, enable users to access this Terms of Use and the Company's personal information policy via a linking screen.
- The name of the representative and the Company
- The address of the Company's office (including places where users can lodge complaints) and the Company's e-mail address
- Telephone number and Fax number
- Registration number as a business and the notification number as a mail-order company
- The personal information policy

Article 4 (Effectiveness and changes of Terms of Use)
① This Terms of Use becomes effective as soon as the Company posts and announces them on the Company's website or as soon as the Company informs the users via the application linking screen, so users can easily access the Terms of Use.
② The Company can change the Terms of Use, as long as it does not violate any relevant regulations, in case of necessary modifications due to changes of applicable laws or improvements for the users' rights and duties. The Company shall announce the changes at least 7 days before the date on which the new Terms of Use become effective together with information on the applied date, the reason and details for the changes. However, if the changes of the Terms of Use have important implications for the users' rights and duties, the Company shall announce those at least 30 days before the date on which the new Terms of Use become effective.
③ The users can refuse to accept changes of the Terms of Use; in this case the users can stop using the service and terminate the contract.
Article 5 (Rules and Regulations outside the Terms of Use)
The Company uses relevant regulations and general commercial practices to regulate and to clarify all provisions that are not mentioned or clarified within this Terms of Use.
Article 6 (Establishment of the user agreement)
① The user agreement comes into effect after a "potential user" installs and executes the application, agrees to this Terms of Use, as well as the personal information policy, and thereby the Company accepts the user's application to use the service.
② When applying for a usage right or when using the service, the user shall provide his/her real information.
④ The Company may refuse the acceptance of an application in any case specified in the following subparagraphs:
Article 7 (User Account Management)
① The Company manages and supervises the users' possibilities to use the service, as well as all user-related business administration via user accounts.
② It is the user's responsibility and duty to manage and supervise his/her own account according to the best practice of a manager.
Article 8 (Personal Information and Data Protection)
① The Company shall make great efforts to protect the users' personal information according to relevant regulations.
Article 9 (Obligations of the Company)
① The Company shall comply with the relevant regulations, and follow sincerely, honestly and in good faith all duties and rights stated in this Terms of Use.
Article 10 (Obligations of the user)
① The user shall not use the service for any other purpose than the original purpose of the service or engage in any forbidden actions.
Article 11 (Duration of service and Discontinuation)
① The Company shall provide the service as soon as it accepts the user's application to use the service.
② The Company shall provide the service all year round 24 hours a day, as long as there are no professional or technical reasons that cause hindrance.
Article 12 (Service contents and changes thereof)
① The user shall use the service in accordance with this Terms of Use and the service operational policies.
Article 13 (Offered and publicated Information)
① The Company can use the users' information and request additional information.
② The Company can post advertisements within the service.
Article 14 (Purchase of Premium Contents and Duration of use)
① The users can purchase premium contents in accordance with the payment policy of the App Store operator.
③ The duration of use for any purchased premium content shall be basically 1 year.
Article 15 (In-App Purchase)
① The application includes In-App Purchase functions for the purchase of premium contents.
Article 16 (Right of Withdrawal Refund)
① The users can withdraw a purchase or claim a refund of premium content without any further charge within 7 days after the date of purchase or the date on which the usage of this premium content became possible.
Article 17 (Effects of a Purchase Withdrawal)
① If a user withdraws his/her purchase, the Company shall immediately revoke or delete the premium content and refund the complete purchase price within 3 business days.
Article 18 (Termination Discontinuation of service)
① The user can always discontinue the usage of the service and terminate the user contract by signing out of the service.
Article 19 (Temporary Restrictions of Use)
① The Company can suspend a user's access to the service until the completion of an investigation.
Article 20 (Compensation)
① If a user violates the duties and obligations stated in this Terms of Use and thereby causes damage to the Company, the user is obliged to compensate the Company.
Article 21 (Exemption)
① If the Company cannot provide the service due to force majeure, the Company will be exempted from liability.
Article 22 (Intellectual Property Rights and Copyrights)
① The Company possesses all intellectual property rights and copyrights for any content.
Article 23 (Jurisdiction and applicable Law)
① The court with jurisdiction, that is competent in all lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and the users in relation to the use of the service, shall be determined in accordance with procedures specified by relevant regulations.
② All lawsuits between the Company and its users are subject to the law of the Republic of Korea.

(Enforcement Date) These Terms of Use come into force on October 21, 2021.
